Find a foundling

Hello my name is Boniswa I have decided to make a podcast about foundlings. The definition of a foundling in the Oxford Dictionary is "an infant that has been abandoned by its parents and is discovered and cared for by others.' The topic is important to me because I am a foundling. The description from the Oxford dictionary is literally my life, abandoned as a baby and found on a footpath by a security guard in the early hours, in Aparthied South Africa. I was then looked after by others, now in my 40's and approaching another birthday, I'm reflecting on how others have lived with being a foundling and how they felt about their birthday, because my life has been an emotional rollercoaster. I rarely celebrate my birthday. It's not the actual date I was born because nobody knows that date, which is fine but I don't feel like I have anything to celebrate. However, this year, someone said something quite profound. Which has stayed with me, and I need to be grateful And I need to celebrate a birthday because I survived. I'd like this podcast to be a positive discussion about being a foundilng and try and help that stigma of adoption. I'd really love it if people could send me a message and help me talk about this subject further.
