Note sull'episodio
Knowing what the Bible says and putting it into practice are two different things. What happens when the sermon is over and we’re back home dealing with disagreements, frustration, and the temptation to say something we shouldn’t?
In Episode 7 of Faith Without Works, we dig into James 1 and the challenge to become doers of the Word—not hearers only. We look at receiving God’s Word with meekness, being swift to hear and slow to speak, and allowing Scripture to change how we respond to the people closest to us.
This is an honest look at living out our faith in our marriages, raising our children, and handling everyday conflict. I’m teaching through things I’m still having to put into practice myself.
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” — James 1:22, KJV
This week’s challenge: Identify one area where you know what God’s Word says, and take a specific step to obey it.
Faith isn’t just a suit on a Sunday.
