Simply put: The Trinity is the belief that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are co-equal and coeternal as the God head. The Trinity is the belief that there is one God who exists in three divine persons.

Manuel also briefly touches on the dangers of using some analogies to explain the trinity to a skeptic or to other believers. The fact that there are some things about God that can be explained simply, but cannot be fully understood shows that our God is transcendent.
