The Power of the Spirit

Encounter Henley Welcomes Pastor: Ash Littleford

Welcome to the Encounter Church Henley podcast! Our prayer is that each episode helps you encounter Jesus and experience life-changing transformation.

In this powerful message from our preaching team, we dive into Acts 10 to explore the power of the Spirit, specifically through prophecy. Pastor Ash shares a personal story about hearing God's voice and then unpacks the biblical concept of prophecy.

Discover:

• What prophecy truly is: It's more than just foretelling the future; it's about speaking God's heart and truth into current situations.
• Why prophecy is for everyone: The Holy Spirit makes this gift accessible to all believers, enabling us to hear and respond to God's voice.
• How God speaks in community: See through the intertwined visions of Cornelius and Peter how God orchestrates divine confirmations and unites His people.
• How prophecy matures the church: Learn how prophetic moments not only confirm God's truth but also develop disciples in humility, obedience, and Christ-likeness.

Join us as we explore how the Spirit's work builds up, encourages, and matures the church, challenging us all to step into the fullness of what God has for us.
