Dr. Reuer is the founder and CEO of MusicWorx, a consulting agency that leads a group of music therapists, and Resounding Joy, a non-profit that seeks to uplift others through music therapy. Additionally, Dr. Reuer was the past president of the American Music Therapy Association. In 2008, she was awarded the American Music Therapy Association national Professional Practice Award as well as the prestigious American Music Therapy Association Lifetime Achievement Award.
