Every footstep, sword clash, creature roar, and whispering breeze you hear in your favorite films is no accident — it’s Foley art. In this captivating Edutainment Learning interview, students from around the world sit down with Shelley Roden, an award-winning Foley Artist at Skywalker Sound, whose work has brought life to over 250+ iconic films and series including Jurassic World: Rebirth, Inside Out 2, Andor, and How to Train Your Dragon. 🎥 Shelley pulls back the curtain on the hidden art form that makes movies come alive, sharing how creativity, experimentation, and storytelling collide in the world of sound design. With a background in athletics, music, and theatre, she shows how every sound is a carefully crafted performance — one that’s often felt more than heard.
