Do Not Mistake Education for Character
Note sull'episodio
Education can make someone informed.
It can make them articulate.
It can make them skilled.
It can make them impressive.
But it does not automatically make them good.
A person can have degrees, credentials, awards, and an incredible vocabulary—and still be dishonest, arrogant, cruel, unreliable, or unwilling to take responsibility.
Knowledge and character are not the same thing.
Education tells you what someone has learned.
Character tells you what they do when the answer is inconvenient.
How they treat people who cannot help them.
Whether they tell the truth when lying would be easier.
Whether they keep their word when nobody is watching.
Whether they use what they know to serve people—or simply to feel superior to them.
Intelligence deserves respect.
