The Story Behind MdE

In our debut episode of Duty Calls & Coffee, we sit down with Lisa Reaver, President of MdE, Inc., and Jean Reaver, Vice President, to share the story behind the company. From its early beginnings to the mission that drives it today, Lisa and Jean discuss why MdE was built specifically for public safety—and why one-size-fits-all software was never the answer.

This episode provides a behind-the-scenes look at how real-world experience and a commitment to supporting agencies, from hire to retirement, have shaped MdE into the all-in-one solution it is today. Whether you’re part of a small department or a large agency, this conversation sets the foundation for what this podcast—and MdE—is all about.
