Note sull'episodio
This was an interview episode of Drumming Up Conversation where hosts Justin and Andrea Wood caught up with Eddie and Dawn about the progress of Flagstaff Creepy Con since their last interview in June. Eddie discussed how the convention has grown organically from a small idea to a major event with 28 celebrity guests, 56 horror vendors, and a VIP party at the Weatherford Hotel. He revealed they had signed a contract with Little America for a potential five-year partnership, though they were already outgrowing the venue before year one even began. Dawn shared her involvement in managing the coffee aspect of the event, with plans to serve cold brew coffee, whole bean coffee, and skull mugs as souvenirs. The hosts discussed their plans to attend the event a week early to help with setup and mentioned their excitement about meeting various celebrity guests including Johnny Hopeless, the Platon twins, and Jack O'Halloran. Eddie also revealed plans for multiple comic book projects tied to the convention and discussed his decision to avoid competing with local Flagstaff coffee shops by focusing on online sales and special events.
