Dot Dattie Podcast #48 - Tobias Romero - Scalpro

Tobias Romero is a renowned expert in Scalp Micropigmentation, with nearly a decade of experience in the field (2017-2025). A licensed barber since 2012, Tobias' passion for the craft was ignited at a young age by his grandfather, Ramon, who taught him the art of barbering.

Tobias' journey in Scalp Micropigmentation began in 2017 when he underwent extensive training under the guidance of the esteemed Bryce Cleveland, a pioneer in the field. This comprehensive training laid the foundation for Tobias' exceptional skills and attention to detail.

In 2018, Tobias further honed his skills through advanced training with Leah Matsch, a respected expert in the industry. He also began collaborating with Good Look Ink, further expanding his expertise and network.

In 2021, Tobias became a traveling artist for Good Look Ink, traveling to Houston once a month to work at the prestigious Houston Hair-Transplant Center, where he provides exceptional scalp micropigmentation services to clients. Tobias' exceptional skills have earned him prestigious recognition, including:

• Gold winner for "Best Hard Hairline" at the Meeting of the Minds in New York (2024)
• Finalist for "Best Artist in North America" at the Meeting of the Minds in London (2023)

In 2020, amidst the challenges of the global pandemic, Tobias took a bold step and opened Scalpro Denver, a state-of-the-art scalp micropigmentation studio. This venture showcased his dedication, resilience, and commitment to providing exceptional services to his clients.

As a successful entrepreneur, Tobias previously owned and operated Ramon's Barbershop from 2017 to 2020. Outside of his professional pursuits, Tobias cherishes time with his 4-year-old daughter, Alaia. When not spending time with his little one, you can find Tobias with his two loyal French Bulldogs, Sarge and Fendi, who bring endless joy and companionship to his life.
