Democratizing the Divine: A Conversation with Charlotte Rørth
Note sull'episodio
In this deeply inspiring episode, Ann-Peggy meets Charlotte Rørth — a Danish journalist, author, and soon-to-be priest — whose spiritual awakening forever changed her life. Struck by what she describes as “the Light of God”, Charlotte entered an entirely new dimension of reality — one that could no longer be contained within the frameworks of academia or religion as we know them.
Together, we explore what happens when the sacred pierces everyday life — when divine experience enters human consciousness so vividly that it demands a new language, a new honesty, and a new humility.
Charlotte speaks with rare clarity and balance about the construction of spiritual experiences — how they empower the individual, yet often disempower the institutions built to contain them. Her vision is to democratize spirituality, to make encounters with the Divine accessible to everyone — beyond dogma, beyond fear, beyond separation.
We talk about:
✨ The delicate art of speaking about spiritual experiences in a secular world
✨ How to combine ordinary life with extraordinary encounters
✨ The responsibility and beauty of being called by God
✨ Feminine and inclusive voices rising within modern Christianity
✨ And how language — when rooted in love — can unite rather than divide
Charlotte’s journey from journalist to priest is not just a personal transformation — it is a sign of the great shift in consciousness happening in our time. She is one of the most balanced and luminous voices in contemporary Christianity — a bridge between intellect and experience, faith and freedom, heaven and earth.
Join us for a conversation that opens the heart, softens the mind, and invites a new way of seeing the sacred in everything— and be reminded that your own experience of Light is not an exception, but an invitation.
