My wife and I contacted our local school to ask if the videos that are circulating (like the one from Florida I'll share tonight) are indicative of how the school year will look for students. We were told "You are correct in your assumption for what our physical spaces will look like when students do return in October (hopefully!) and also in those places where students are still going to be receiving in person instruction." (Like the A.K. Smith Career Center, etc) They anticipate putting a video or something together before returning to in person instruction. I'll read the full email and we can talk about what this means. As a parent of teens, I worry about mental health. Is this post-apocalyptic vibe going to do more harm than the virus? I don't envy the teachers and administrators that have to make the decisions associated with this.
