Dion's Daily Dose: The Home Health Care industry is often overlooked and seldom talked about. There are 76 home health care agencies in Lake County alone, 17 in Porter County, and 36 in LaPorte County. That's just the direct service providers. There are far more jobs that expand outward from those. I'll get into the numbers a little bit but we won't be focusing on a bunch of data. We'll be talking about the very real crisis that the industry is facing, what can be done, why I'm passionate about this (aside from my wife working in the industry), and how all of this ties to me being Pro Life.
