Tourists urged to respect wildlife as Namibia marks World Rhino Day

Namibia’s tourism and hospitality sector is calling for greater respect for wildlife as the country prepares to mark World Rhino Day on 22 September. Tourism representative Gitta Paetzold says the growing number of vehicles gathering around wildlife sightings can leave animals anxious and cornered, while tourists should be better informed about responsible behaviour in national parks.
