As we continue with the Midday Report this hour, we shift our focus to water safety, especially during the festive season a time when beaches, rivers and swimming spots are busier than ever. Every year, the festive period unfortunately sees a spike in drowning incidents, raising serious concerns about public awareness, safety measures and emergency response.
To give us an update on what this season has looked like so far, and what Namibians need to be mindful of, we are joined by Martin Muyenga, founder of Monarch Lifeguard and Emergency Services.
