Note sull'episodio
Zimbabwean academic and author Ibbo Mandaza has strongly criticised the country's new constitutional amendments, describing them as unconstitutional and a threat to democratic governance. He argues that extending presidential and parliamentary terms and ending direct presidential elections could further entrench executive power while weakening public accountability. Mandaza also called on African countries to strengthen democratic institutions and urged regional bodies to take a firmer stance on governance issues in Zimbabwe.
