In this episode, we trace the externalized altar directly into the global political economy. We examine prosperity theology, seed faith, and the monetization of spiritual authority. We explore how nineteenth century American New Thought evolved into a multi billion dollar global extraction system through mid twentieth century televangelism. Moving into the Global South, we analyze how IMF structural adjustment programs created economic collapse, allowing megachurches to function as predatory shadow states. We dissect the extreme performance of miracles across Southern Africa, using South Africa as a case study for inequality, intermittent reinforcement, systemic double burdens, and psychological capture. Finally, we contrast seed faith with genuine mutual aid and offer a clear diagnostic framework for reclaiming economic sovereignty.
