Being an 8-year-old is supposed to be one of the easiest things in the world. But for young Relisha Rudd, this ease seemed to be a world away. Being raised in a family inflicted with generations of poverty and homelessness forced her to experience things that no 8-year-old should. As the family struggled to live day-to-day, bouncing between a relative's home and a homeless shelter, a charming man enters their lives with what seemed like the intention of helping lift their spirits. So when Relisha goes missing, and he was the last person she was seen with, her family begins to question if this man who they trusted to be so close to their little girl is who he appeared to be.
