It's October 1997, and it's the Labor Day three day weekend in Bega, NSW, Australia a picturesque country town neat the NSW/VIC border. Best friends Lauren Barry, 14, and Nicole Collins, 16, were keen to celebrate their upcoming birthdays and the long weekend with a campout with some friends.
All was going well until the girls decided they wanted to go to a party in a nearby town saying they were going to walk there. They bid their friends goodbye and were never seen alive again.
A few weeks later, career criminals Leslie Camilleri and Lindsay are arrested and charged with the girls' murders, but the true horrors of what those girls were put through was far worse than anyone had feared.
