Note sull'episodio
What if there is no “right choice”?
A different job. A different relationship. Another city. Another country. One decision can change almost everything that comes after it — but we never get to see the life we would have lived if we had chosen differently.
In this episode of Cozy Chaos, Michael Swetly and Viktoria Shcherbitskaia talk about our obsession with making the “right” decisions — and why we may be asking the wrong question in the first place.
Why do we romanticize the lives we never lived? Why does the alternative version of ourselves always seem happier and more successful? Can a relationship end without being a mistake? Can a bad decision eventually become a good one? And how much of what we want is actually ours — rather than something expected from us by family, friends, society or social media?
We also get into career choices, moving abroad, relationships, FOMO, intuition versus logic, missed opportunities, other people’s expectations and the strange pressure to have your entire life figured out. The episode also asks whether having more options has actually made us freer — or simply more afraid that somewhere out there is a better life we failed to choose.
And then there’s the biggest question:
If you could see the life you would have lived after making one major decision differently — would you actually want to see it?
Maybe life isn't a maze with one correct route. Maybe there is no perfect road waiting to be discovered. Maybe we choose a direction, walk it, change along the way — and give that road meaning because it became ours.
