The Book of Isaiah 3-5
Note sull'episodio
In this episode of Scripture Road: Life’s Journey, we continue our journey through Isaiah with chapters 3 through 5.
These chapters bring some of Isaiah’s strongest warnings yet. We see what happens when a society turns away from God, when leadership breaks down, when pride takes over, and when people begin calling evil good and good evil.
In Isaiah 3, we look at the coming judgment on Judah and Jerusalem and the consequences of corrupt leadership and selfishness. In chapter 4, the tone shifts as Isaiah points toward cleansing, restoration, and the hope of God’s presence among His people. Then in chapter 5, we explore the powerful Song of the Vineyard, where God compares Israel to a vineyard He carefully planted and cared for—only to find that it produced bad fruit.
We’ll slow down throughout the episode, compare passages from the King James Version and World English Bible, explain the historical setting, and talk about what these warnings mean for us today.
