Samuel 8-10; 13; 15-16

Welcome to Convert ME, a weekly Bible study podcast where we explore God's Word through the eyes of a growing believer. I'm your host, Scott Espinda, and whether you're a new follower of Jesus Christ, a new member of the church, or someone who has been walking with the Lord for many years, I'm glad you're here.

The heart behind this podcast is simple: to help new believers understand Scripture, grow in their faith, and see how God's Word applies to everyday life. At the same time, seasoned Christians are invited to join us and rediscover familiar passages through the fresh perspective of a convert's journey.

This week, we'll be diving into 1 Samuel chapters 8 through 10, chapter 13, and chapters 15 through 16. We'll explore Israel's desire for a king, the rise of Saul, his struggles with obedience, and God's surprising choice of David—the shepherd boy who would become king. Along the way, we'll discover what these chapters teach us about leadership, obedience, faith, and how God looks beyond outward appearances and sees the heart.

So grab your Bible, a notebook, and a cup of coffee, and let's grow together as we seek to be transformed by God's Word.
