Since 1996 The CIA has had an Entertainment Liaison Officer, specifically tasked with influencing movie scripts and targeted messaging in Hollywood. This is far from the only example of the CIA’s interest in movies and TV which go all the way back to its founding.

On this episode we continue our coverage of Operation Mockingbird. We already have seen how the CIA influences the news, and now we dive into how they influence public opinion in motion pictures.
