Welcome back!! I'm excited to be back with you discussing and learning from the word of God. This season we will focus on the words of Christ, what did Jesus say? It is imperative that we know and live by the words of Christ.

Matthew 5:4 Says "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted"

This statement is apart of Jesus's teaching and when I read this the first thought is why would those who mourn be considered blessed.

Mourning happens when you have loved something or someone beyond yourself. As I meditated on this scripture the Holy Spirit posed this thought " maybe we are called blessed because now we understand God more. Maybe we understand God a little more to lose someone to death.
