Help children learn that getting angry is normal, but we can choose what we do with those feelings. Using figurines and pretend-play scenarios, Jr. Primary kids practice being quick to do helpful things and slow to anger. They will act out different situations and respond with actions that are quick, slow, and soft.

Senior primary learners will practice being peacemakers when they encounter anger and contention around them. After reading a scripture from Proverbs about controlling anger, partners will act out a scenario where a friend is angry and practice using the scripture’s wisdom to help “cool the fiery darts” before someone reacts rashly.

Both of these activities T gives children a fun, low-pressure way to practice using gospel principles in real-life situations!
