Ruth is a singer-songwriter and one of the members of The Raines.

Ruth writes reflective and melodic songs driven by poetic lyrics. With a musical style steeped in folk and roots, she has a sweet, emotive voice and was described by Irish music magazine Hotpress as ‘a real gem’.

Ruth has had a busy and colourful career to date. She toured for five years as a singer with renowned Irish artist Dolores Keane, and has released her own solo cds (‘Silent Thief’ 1999 & ‘Woken’ 2005) compiled of her own songs.
