Case No. 21: Trenny Gibson: The Girl Who Never Came Back

On October 8th, 1976, sixteen-year-old Trenny Gibson stepped away from her classmates on a school field trip in the Great Smoky Mountains — and vanished. One of the largest search efforts the park had ever seen turned up nothing. No trace. No scene. No answers.

Nearly fifty years later, her Bearden High classmates are still asking questions, a cold-case investigator believes this was never a hiking accident, and the case remains open. Tonight, we walk the trail, weigh the theories, and remember the girl behind the mystery.
