In 2015 Pope Francis released the encyclical "Laudato Si", titled after the first lines of St Francis of Assisi's great hymn to creation. It's a timely exhortation to Catholics of the world to be better stewards, and given that we face a manmade ecological crisis of "biblical" proportions it seeks to base its arguments for why you should be concerned on solid scriptural exegesis.

Practically though, many Catholics struggle with how they can help. Most can't be bothered, it seems overwhelming, something "experts" should be tasked with. As a master naturalist I am well suited to help you learn ways in which you can begin enjoying God's natural creation today, and in the process help us do as we were called to do in the garden originally: protect it and ourselves against the forces of evil and destruction at all costs.
