AJ and I take the Cybertruck out on FSD 14.3.9 to test the new automatic collision avoidance logic and run our standard route. We evaluate the question mark unprotected left, multiple parking scenarios, and the thin chain test. Throughout the drive, we test simulated driver inattention and obstacle approaches to see whether the new collision avoidance logic intervenes. We take the Model Y out on FSD 14.3.9 to test the new automatic collision evasion feature and see how it handles our regular route. Along the drive we look at highway lane change behavior, unprotected left turns, and multiple parking scenarios. I also attempt to deliberately trigger the evasion feature on the highway and reflect on my recent CyberCab ride in Austin.
