n part 3 of our Judge Not series from Matthew 7 Fr Ryan looks at the impact that the judgements of a hypocrite have on the person struggling with sin, weaknesses, and sorrow compared with the miraculous healing that comes from the care of a friend who has received the Way of Jesus for their own sins, failures, and sorrows first.

Why not judge? In Matthew 7:1&2 Jesus begins his teaching on non-judgement with a gracious warning to his followers that the measure with which they use to judge others will be used upon them.

Episode One : Judge Not

We continue our studies of The Good Way of Jesus according to the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew’s Gospel with “Judge not, that you be not judged.” (Mtt7) Despite our attempts to escape judgement by leaving traditional society and religions behind we now find ourselves drowning in more judgements than ever. Thankfully the Way of Jesus offers us a third way—the way of non-judgement.
