We discuss a historic international mission titled "Operation Flight to Sanctuary," which involved a multi-organizational effort to relocate eight big cats from Honduras to the United States. To ensure the safety of the five tigers and three lions, members of the Big Cat Sanctuary Alliance collaborated to navigate complex logistics, including the custom construction of heavy-duty transport crates. The rescue required a grueling multi-modal transport plan involving a boat, a semi-truck, and an airplane to move the animals across international borders.
