About the Episode

On today's episode of the Strike a Balance Podcast for Working Homeschool Moms, I chat to Lenora Edwards about language development in young children, tweens and teens. Lenora is a ASHA Board Certified Speech Language Pathologist and Chief Knowledge Officer with Better Speech.

Since obtaining her CCC’s in 2010, she has worked with individuals of all ages from little ones who are learning to understand and express themselves to adults who want to improve their speaking skills and become a more fluent and effective communicator.

It was really interesting to hear about the timeline of a child's language development and to learn about signs of possible speech delays. Lenora also shares some ways that we can help our children to feel more confident when speaking.
