Voter Engagement In Rural Texas

Today we will be speaking with Stephanie Mascorro, a Democratic activist in a rural part of Texas. She will tell us about how growing up in a working-class immigrant family shaped her values and drive to serve. We will hear about how her work in a rural community makes it easier for others to connect, organize, and feel seen. We will discuss her passion for women’s healthcare, rural access to resources and fighting misinformation. We will also talk about the statewide races in Texas that are drawing national attention. Finally, we will discuss voter engagement in the Hispanic community, the state of the Democratic Party and the 2028 presidential election.
