Lesson Content: Mental Health in the Darkness

• The Reality of Depression: Job 17:11 ("My days have passed, my plans are shattered"). Job is expressing a very real mental health crisis. Christian wellness means being honest when your plans shatter and your heart breaks, not pretending everything is fine.
• The Desires of the Heart: Even in the depths of trauma and despair, the Holy Spirit keeps a flicker of hope alive inside of us.
