Author Rebecca F. Pittman writes in detail about the case of Pam Hupp who is on trial murdering Louis Gumpenberger in her home in 2016. Gumpenberger suffered from mental and physical impairments. Hupp claimed she had shot him in self defense.

On February 22, a mini series on the Hupp case will air on NBC starring Rene Zellweger.

Pittman was raised in a rather unusual environment. Her mother owned a successful modeling agency in Salt Lake City. Pittman was on a runway by the time she was 5, teaching modeling by age 16, and helping women find confidence and a core of self-worth, by her early 20's.
