The End is All About Jesus

The Timing of Jesus

Revelation 10:1-11

The Main Point: We must trust and obey God in the unknown of the last days.

• The future is sealed. (vv1-4)
  • Ex 13:21-22; Rev 4:3; Amos 3:8
  • God hasn’t told us everything that will happen in the future. (Dan 12:4a; Deut 29:29)
• The future is coming. (vv5-7)
  • Dan 12:1-2, 8-12
  • God hasn’t told us when everything will happen in the future.
• The future is revealed. (vv8-11)
  • Ezek 2:3-4, 9-10; 3:1-3
  • God has told us enough about the future to live faithfully, warn others, and preach hope. (Mt 24:14)
