She chose bubbles, in a world obsessed with bombs!
Note sull'episodio
In a world spending trillions on warfare, hundreds of millions of children are growing up in conflict zones where play is treated as a luxury rather than a fundamental human right.
In this Special Feature episode of Builders of the Broken Bazaar—presented in partnership with GazaBridge—Dr. Tabish Zaman sits down with Paola Dyboski, founder of Bubbles Not Bombs. Daughter of a Polish WWII refugee, marine conservationist, and Guinness World Record holder, Paola shares her journey from running an eco-friendly bubble business to establishing an NGO that sends bubble mix, educational tools, and play therapy resources to children in Gaza, Lebanon, Sudan, and Congo.
Together, they explore the philosophy of play as radical non-violent resistance, the power of community-led action, and the global mobilization for International Peace Day (September 21st)—where people around the world make bubbles to demand an end to the bombing of children.
🎙 “In a world obsessed with bombs, bubbles interrupt stress, slow people down, and create attention without violence. Every child needs to play.”
