The Choices that cost me 20 years ft Derrick Smith
Note sull'episodio
In Part One, Derrick Smith revealed the choices and consequences that cost him 20 years of his life. Now, in Part Two, we meet DERRICK2.0—the man he became before the prison doors ever opened.
Derrick shares how a life-changing encounter with God forced him to confront the man he had been and intentionally rebuild himself from the inside out. While incarcerated, he earned his GED, graduated from Miami Dade College, built a government-contracting business, and created CDL-preparation and government-contracting programs to help other incarcerated men prepare for success.
But coming home after 20 years brought a new set of challenges. Derrick opens up about adjusting to freedom, facing rejection because of his record, and refusing to let his past disqualify him from his purpose.
Today, as The 2.0 Architect, Derrick helps others understand that transformation begins when you take responsibility for rebuilding your own life. His testimony proves that your environment does not determine your future—and sometimes you become free long before they release you.
Walk in purpose. On purpose.
