A good trading decision can look completely wrong for several hours before the market proves it right. Intraday price action is full of false breaks, sharp reversals, algorithmic moves, headline reactions and emotional order flow. None of these automatically mean your analysis was poor.
Many traders judge themselves by what happens immediately after entry. If price moves against them, they assume they made a mistake. If it moves in their favour, they assume they were right.
