Boise officials have temporarily banned fireworks in city parks after wildfires sparked by pyrotechnics last week, while Boise State University hosts a free World Cup watch party this Friday. The University of Idaho Extension is also launching a veterans-to-farming training program as part of the 7th Annual Support Local Gems Initiative in Boise.
