Note sull'episodio
College Football Week 4 is here, and this slate is LOADED! On Episode 24 of the Blue Collar Sports Podcast, we’re breaking down our predictions, spreads, players to watch, and biggest storylines for another huge weekend of college football.
We start with Colorado vs. Baylor, where Colorado looks to clean up its turnover problems while Baylor gets DJ Lagway back. Then we dive into a massive matchup between Oklahoma and #2 Georgia, as John Mateer and the Sooners face Gunner Stockton and a Georgia offense that has been rolling.
The SEC brings several huge games this week. #4 Ole Miss travels to #21 Florida, with Trinidad Chambliss and Aaron Philo leading two explosive offenses. Can Ole Miss get it done without a healthy Kewan Lacy? We also have South Carolina vs. #8 Alabama, Vanderbilt vs. Auburn, and #23 Texas A&M vs. #10 LSU, where Sam Leavitt and Marcel Reed both have something to prove.
Elsewhere, we break down #15 Utah vs. Iowa State, #17 Iowa vs. #18 Michigan, Oklahoma State vs. West Virginia, and #19 Missouri vs. #24 Mississippi State. Michael Hawkins Jr. has been dangerous through the air and on the ground for West Virginia, while Mississippi State's Kamario Taylor enters Week 4 with 11 passing touchdowns.
We also have one of the biggest offensive matchups of the weekend with #20 Oregon vs. #12 USC. Dante Moore has thrown for 849 yards and 9 touchdowns, while Jayden Maiava has exploded for 1,173 yards, 12 touchdowns, and only 1 interception. With Oregon favored by just 3, this one could be a shootout.
🏆 BCS GAME OF THE WEEK: #1 TEXAS vs. #14 TENNESSEE
The Longhorns enter as 5.5-point favorites with Arch Manning leading the offense alongside Hollywood Smothers and Ryleek Brown. Tennessee counters with Faizon Brandon, who has thrown for 552 yards and 6 touchdowns, while a major question surrounds the status of Deshean Bishop.
