MICAH 5:2-4 PSALM 13:6 MATTHEW 1:1-16, 18-23

Taken together, that's the story of a small town, a small offering of gratitude, and a long list of names ending in a single birth — three ways of saying that greatness in this account rarely starts out looking like greatness at all.
