Blood drops and patterns are not just mess — they physically reconstruct what happened through bloodstain pattern analysis (BPA). They help answer: - Where the injuries occurred (location of origin of the blood spatter) - How the injury was inflicted (type of weapon, amount of force, number of blows) - In what sequence events unfolded - Who was where (position of victim vs. attacker, post-injury movement) - Suicide, accident, or homicide? (very often the decisive factor)
