Seagulls Will Rob You Blind

This week on Binging with Benefits, we kick things off with a very important seasonal discussion: beach days are back… but so are the seagulls, and frankly, they cannot be trusted. We’re talking snack theft, aerial attacks, and why no one prepares you for this level of coastal chaos.

Then, things take a turn as Jess tells Becca about the Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker documentary on Netflix — a wild, unsettling story that had the internet crowning the wrong person a hero. We get into how viral moments can completely distort reality, the dangers of glorifying people without knowing the full story, and the role media and entertainment play in giving platforms to the wrong voices.

To balance out the chaos, this week’s Benefit is all about adding a little joy to your everyday life. Becca shares her surprisingly delightful hack: assigning emojis to your phone contacts. It’s practical, it’s personal, and it’s a tiny way to romanticize your life… one text notification at a time.

Beach paranoia, internet deep dives, and a sprinkle of whimsy — just another week with your favorite sisters 💅
