Jay Kennedy swung his years of experience in the hospitality industry into a business that combined that with his passion for cycling - the Thirsty Pigs Mobile Event Company. With Thirsty Pigs, he does everything from planning and leading multi-day cycling trips (such as the Marathon and Key West rides in Florida this February!) as well offering complete event planning services for corporate events, reunions, social gatherings, bicycling rides, weddings, tail-gates, birthday parties and more. Thirsty Pigs works closely with a Des Moines area bar, patio and music venue situated on the Des Moines River - Captain Roy's, which is owned and operated by a long-time cycling friend and cycling community supporter (and incredible musician) Wade Thompson.
