Their Mission

Verse 4b These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Thus, having been successfully preserved, recruited, thoroughly enlightened and generously endowed, with eyes wide open, their mission is such that they “…follow Him wherever He goes”. That is, these 144,000 Jews, having been ‘redeemed’ from among the ranks of unbelieving men and women—a kind of offering of first-fruits of Jewish believers rescued from the tribulation period—they themselves will now do the work of the Man from Galilee (as when He walked the earth) following in His footsteps, hastily, speedily boldly evangelizing  ...
