From a Sea Known for Death?

Of all the mineral salts known to exist in the Sea of Salt region, those in highest concentration include Magnesium, Calcium, Bromide, Potassium, Sodium, Chloride, and Sulfur.  Magnesium chloride (53%), potassium chloride (37%), and sodium chloride or common table salt (8%) are the most abundant, while the remainder occur chiefly in trace elements.
