He grew up a ranch kid with deep roots in cattle country, running around 1,000 mother cows across 10,000 acres of Sandhills grass. His mom pushed him to find work off the ranch to help keep it alive — he ended up going to college on a steer wrestling scholarship and stumbling into auction school with zero idea it would change his life.

He owns and partners on some of the industry's top bulls, breeds his own commercial cattle, and ships semen straws to producers around the globe — all while staying a genuine student of ranch history and the business he grew up in.
