S2E6: Lindsey Miller on USC, Purdue, and Overcoming Injuries

USC women's volleyball alum and current Purdue middle blocker Lindsey Miller joins CrashLit to talk about how she initially was looking at playing softball in college before ultimately falling in love with volleyball in high school. She details what led her to choose first Notre Dame, then USC, before transferring to Purdue for her graduate year. She also details overcoming an injury and some of her favorite moments with USC, while also talking about coming back to USC when Purdue travels to Galen Center on October 4. CrashLit might be 23 today, but that ain't stopping him from getting in the studio! He opens by previewing football's first game from Missouri State, and what he thinks the team needs to do to be successful. He then moves onto soccer, where he discusses their latest two victories and who's up next at Rawlinson Stadium. Next, CrashLit previews women's volleyball's first two matches of the year, and what he expects from the team this season. He then turns his attention to men's water polo's first four games, before previewing cross country in their first meet at Pepperdine. Finally, CrashLit talks about men's basketball's non-conference schedule, and which games intrigue him the most.

CrashLit starts the first Monday Rundown of Season 2 by talking about the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Rawlinson Stadium before diving into the soccer team's first win in its new home venue and recalls his experience there. He lists who from football made a preseason watchlist, and why those players need to perform. He then moves to women's volleyball, and talks about what USC will need to do to get past the Round of 32 and also highlights key moments from Big Ten Volleyball Media Days. He next gets into men's water polo taking part in the first MPSF Media Days for men's water polo and talks about their first games coming up in a couple weekends. Finally, CrashLit talks about cross country and their upcoming first meet at Pepperdine..

S2E3: USC WVB Takes On Big Ten VB Media Days

(Originally recorded on 4/29/2025, interviews and press conference from 4/29/2025) CrashLit travels to Chicago to cover the USC women's volleyball team at Big Ten Volleyball Media Days at the Big Ten Network Studio. CrashLit starts by recapping before diving into what USC said and what head coach Brad Keller, redshirt sophomore middle blocker Leah Ford and redshirt junior outside hitter Adonia Faumuina said. CrashLit recaps both USC's press conference with the media as well as during the one-on-one sit down interviews he secured with Keller, Ford and Faumuina. After each interview, CrashLit gives his thoughts and talks about why he is excited for the upcoming season, which kicks off on August 29th at home versus Denver on B1G+. USC baseball alum and recent Colorado Rockies draftee and two-way player Ethan Hedges joins CrashLit on Behind The Caution Tape to talk about what his selection into the Rockies organization and his experience playing professional baseball so far. CrashLit also asks Ethan about his time at USC, and what it was like to make the NCAAs and be a two-way player in his final year as a Trojan. USC football alum, Fox Sports color commentator, and Petros And Money co-host Petros Papadakis joins CrashLit on the Season 2 premiere of Behind The Caution Tape as the show's first guest. CrashLit asks Petros about his experience playing for USC before asking Petros about his career in working for Fox as a color analyst and talks about some of his memorable moments. Because Petros' criticism of USC looking at ending the Notre Dame rivalry, CrashLit asks Petros about what the USC-Notre Dame rivalry has meant to him. S1E59: Natty 138 Comes Home

CrashLit starts by congratulating men's track and field on winning the outdoor national championship, which is USC's 138th national title. He also congratulates the women's team on finishing as the national runner-up. He then talks about who the core value players of the week were for football. CrashLit next recaps who made the all-regional team for baseball and highlights Ethan Hedges being named an All-American by Perfect Game. Finally, CrashLit signs off on the final Monday Rundown of Season 1 and recaps some of his favorite moments.

S1E58: David Neal on TV Career at NBC, Fox & More

Peabody and 35-time Emmy Award-winning TV producer David Neal, a USC alum who worked at both NBC Sports and Fox Sports, joins CrashLit on Behind The Caution Tape. David Tells CrashLit about what got him interested in being a sports producer, and how it led to working at NBC Sports, to starting his own company and working at Univision, and how it ultimately led him to Fox Sports. CrashLit asks David about producing soccer for Fox, and what his latest endeavors have been since leaving Fox in 2023.

S1E57: Baseball Concludes, Just Track & Field Remains

CrashLit opens the episode by talking about the House Settlement being approved and also discusses USC's new partnership with Learfield. He then talks about the Los Angeles Emmy Award for the Arrival of the Trojan intro video at football games this past season. Next, CrashLit discusses and previews some of the games for soccer in 2025, and why it will be exciting to be attend games at the new Rawlinson Stadium. He then talks about Jasmine Koo and Catherine Park of women's golf earning All-American accolades by Golfweek. CrashLit then previews track and field in the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Finally, he recaps baseball's win or go home loss to Oregon State in the Corvallis Regional final, and why he is excited for next season, with the team set to return to the brand new Dedeaux Field.

UC San Diego and USC men's basketball alum Bryce Pope joins CrashLit on a special episode of Behind The Caution Tape to discuss his basketball journey. Bryce talks about being recruited to UCSD to becoming one of the best players in Triton history. He then talks about transferring to USC for his final year of eligibility, and talked about his time with the Trojans, and how it differed from his UCSD experience.
