Does God Still See Me? | El Roi, The God Who Sees Me

Have you ever wondered if God still sees you? Or struggled to believe that He is near, that He hears your prayers, and that He truly cares about what you’re going through? ❤️‍🩹 Welcome back to Bedtime Talks with Zhan! In this episode, I’m sharing a little life update and opening up about my personal struggles with feeling God’s presence and questioning whether He truly cares for me in the seasons when life feels uncertain. Together, we’re diving into the biblical story of Hagar and discovering the beautiful meaning behind the name of God, El Roi, “The God Who Sees Me.” Through Hagar’s story, we’re reminded that God sees us in our wilderness, in our pain, and in the places where we may feel forgotten or overlooked. He sees our past, is present with us today, and already knows what lies ahead in our future. Little Angels, I hope this conversation reminds you that the Creator of the universe has not lost sight of you. Even when you struggle to recognize His presence, His eyes are still on you. Your tears are not hidden from Him, your circumstances have not escaped Him, and your future is not a mystery to Him. You are seen. You are remembered. You are not forgotten. And even when you cannot feel God near you, that does not mean He has abandoned you. My prayer is that this episode brings peace to your heart, strengthens your faith, and reminds you that the God who sees Hagar in the wilderness is the same God who sees you right where you are today. So get comfortable, take a deep breath, and let’s talk about the God who sees us. 🤍 Scriptures: Genesis 16 Psalm 121:3,5-8 Proverbs 15: 3 2nd Chrinicles 16: 9 ___________________________________ CHAPTERS 2:34 - Prayer 3:31 - Life Update 13:42 - El Roi 18:52 - Gen. Personal Conviction: Is There More God Wants From Us

What if saying “I’m not personally convicted” isn’t where the conversation should end? In this episode of Bedtime Talks with Zhan, we’re taking a deeper look at the idea of personal conviction and what it means to truly follow God. The phrase “personal conviction” is often used when we’re trying to determine whether something is right or wrong in God’s eyes. But sometimes, we can become so focused on whether we personally feel convicted about something that we miss the bigger question: “God, what do You desire from me?” Through Romans 13 and 14, we take a deeper look at Paul’s message to the believers in Rome and how he encouraged them to love, support, and refrain from judging one another despite having different levels of faith and spiritual understanding. This conversation isn't about creating more rules or telling everyone what they should or shouldn't do. It's about understanding the purpose of conviction and recognizing that following Christ means being willing to let God continually transform us. There are things Scripture clearly identifies as contrary to God's will. But there are also areas where believers may have different convictions and levels of spiritual maturity. In both situations, we're called to seek God, walk in love, and pursue righteousness. Conviction isn't meant to simply make us uncomfortable or restrict our lives. It can be one of the ways God reveals areas where He is calling us to grow and become more like Christ. So instead of only asking ourselves, “Am I personally convicted about this?” what happens when we become willing to ask God: “Should I be doing this?” “Does this honor You?” “Is this helping me become more like Christ?” Sometimes following God means allowing Him to challenge the things we've become comfortable with. And sometimes growing in Christ means learning to love someone whose faith looks different from ours. 📖 Scripture: Romans 13 & Romans 14 Welcome to Bedtime Talks with Zhan, a space for honest conversations about faith, growth, and what it means to follow Christ. The Secret Place: God's Prescription for a Busy Soul

Life has a way of becoming so busy that we don't even realize we've drifted spiritually. We feel overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, and out of alignment, but what if the answer isn't to do more? What if the answer is to return to the secret place? In this episode, I share why fasting and prayer are God's prescription for a busy soul and how spending intentional time in His presence brings healing, clarity, peace, and spiritual realignment. We talk about why the secret place isn't just another spiritual discipline, it's where our relationship with Jesus is strengthened and where we are reminded of who we are. If you've been feeling spiritually disconnected, emotionally drained, or simply overwhelmed by the demands of life, this conversation is an invitation to step away from the noise and draw near to God. He is waiting for you in the secret place. ✨ In this episode, we discuss: - Why busyness can lead to spiritual misalignment - The importance of fasting and prayer - How the secret place renews your mind and spirit - Practical encouragement for reconnecting with Jesus - Finding peace, direction, and strength in God's presence __________________________ CHAPTERS 0:00 - Intro 3:00 - Prayer 4:00 - Life has been so busy 7:01 - Matthew 10: 38 - 42 NIV 9:52 - Consecration Defined 12:47 - Importance of Prayer 14:25 - Importance of Fasting 15:56 - Matthew 6: 16- 18 NIV 21:47 - Learn to Prepare your Flesh for Fasting Matthew 26: 41 NIV 25:13 - My experience with a failed fast 31:35 - Be Aware of the Devils Tricks When you Fast 32:59 - The enemy Plays on your hormones 36:59 - Comment and Share!! Be Strong and Courageous | Preparing to Enter Your Promised Land

How do you prepare for the Promised Land God has for you? In this Christian podcast episode, we study the book of Joshua and uncover what it means to be "strong and courageous" as we step into the promises God has prepared for our lives. After the death of Moses, Joshua was given the incredible responsibility of leading the Israelites into the Promised Land. Before they crossed over, God reminded Joshua of one powerful truth: "Be strong and courageous... for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." That same promise still encourages believers today. In this episode, we discuss: ✨ What Joshua 1:1–9 teaches us about spiritual preparation. ✨ Why God calls us to be "strong and courageous" before entering a new season. ✨ The blessing of being children of God and walking in His promises. ✨ How God's favor can make your journey look different from everyone else's. ✨ Why, as believers, we are often the exception, not because of our own strength, but because God is faithful to His Word. ✨ How to trust God's presence when stepping into unfamiliar territory. If you've been praying for breakthrough, waiting on God's timing, or preparing for the next chapter of your life, this Bible study and Christian encouragement will remind you that God goes before you. The Promised Land isn't just about the destination, it's about learning to trust the One leading you there. Navigating The Single Season: What God Revealed to Me About Love

In this episode, I share the revelations God has been showing me about navigating the single season with purpose, faith, and wisdom. We dive into the question, "Why do we sometimes feel like God's love isn't enough?". We need to explore how our conversations, relationships, and thought patterns can shape our journey while we wait. I also share personal experiences that taught me the importance of using discernment when building relationships and why this season may be less about finding a spouse and more about getting to know God on a deeper level. Sometimes, singleness isn't a delay, it's preparation. If you've ever wondered whether something is wrong with you because you're still single, this episode is for you. There is nothing wrong with waiting for marriage. There is nothing wrong with choosing God's timing. And there is nothing wrong with being in a building season instead of a dating season. ✨ Be encouraged, stay faithful, and trust the process God has for your life. _____________________________ CHAPTERS: 1:26 Why isn't God's love enough? 8:09 Be mindful of the conversations you hold! 10:00 Prophetic dream of warning to be mindful of my conversation 12:33 Feeding your flesh in anyway makes you weak 16:10 What do I do with my desire to be married?! 21:36 God is inviting you to spend time with him 24:00 Prayer is your weapon for increased wisdom 25:47 Don't miss the blessings right infant of you! 30:27 Outro! Daddy Issues: Learning God As Our Father

What if the wounds left by your earthly father are affecting the way you see your Heavenly Father? In this episode of Bedtime Talks with Zhan, I share a fresh revelation God has been showing me: despite my growth, healing, and relationship with Christ, I still struggle with daddy issues. As children of God, we often don’t realize how our relationship—or lack of relationship—with our natural fathers can shape the way we trust, receive love from, and relate to our Heavenly Father. In this vulnerable conversation, I open up about the negative fruit that unresolved father wounds have produced in my life and how those struggles have impacted other relationships. While I can only speak from my experience as a daughter, my prayer is that this conversation reaches everyone wrestling with father wounds including men, fathers, sons, and daughters. My hope is that it sparks healing, accountability, and restoration. 2026 is the year we break the cycle of hurt people hurting people. Healing starts by confronting the issues of the heart, and for many of us, that means addressing our daddy issues. Why Date If Not To Marry?

In this episode, we’re asking the question nobody wants to answer honestly: Why date if not to marry? 👀 Somewhere along the way, modern dating became endless situationships, wasted years, emotional confusion, and relationships with no real direction. But is that really how God intended relationships to be? Today, I’m diving deep into the true purpose of dating, marriage, and guarding your heart according to God’s Word. We’re talking about: ✨ Why intentional dating matters ✨ What God says about relationships and commitment ✨ Why so many people claim they want marriage… but date for YEARSSSS with no end goal ✨ Fear of commitment, comfort culture, and modern relationship confusion ✨ How society normalized wasting time instead of building covenant This conversation was also inspired by the recent Megan Thee Stallion & Klay Thompson breakup and cheating allegations, which sparked bigger conversations about commitment, loyalty, and what people truly want out of relationships today. If you’ve ever questioned modern dating culture, felt frustrated with meaningless relationships, or desired a God-centered perspective on love and marriage, this episode is for you. 🎙️ Tune in, subscribe, and join the conversation. #ChristianPodcast #DatingWithPurpose #Marriage #Relationships #GodlyDating #ChristianDating #Podcast #DatingCulture #FaithBasedPodcast #MarriageGoals _____________________________________ CHAPTERS 2:33 -Prayer 3:20 - Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson 9:37 - Understanding Dating 18:46 - The Lack of Desire to Be Married 21:38 - Your Still Dating With No Desire for Marriage 26:13 - Desire Marriage With Lack of Balance 29:43 - Be Careful of Worshipping Your Partner 31:05- 3 Ways You Are Worshipping Your Partner 38:51 - You Deserve Love No Matter What 39:39 - What God Says Regarding Your Heart Scripture Refrences: Ephesians 5: 25 Proverbs 4: 23 1 Thessalonians 4: 3-5 Songs of Solomon 2: 7 Jeremiah 29: 13 Mathew 6: 33-34 Make sure you follow me :) Social Media: YouTube https://youtube.com/@zhanseyeline?si=EBcOt1UZoaKEWVE7 TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@zhanvie?lang=en

From Wrestling God to Resting in Him | My Testimony of Peace

It's Testimony time Little Angels! Listen, since late November 2025 to about now May 2026 me and my family have truly been going through. I truly have not faced so much tragedy and heart ache before. Sometimes it's very sobering to remember your heart will still ache even in Christ. I have talked on the podcast before how much I get frustrated and how desperate I am to see change in my life.
